The Lego Ninjago Movie
Review by Ryan Davidson
Score: 7.5/10
The Lego Ninjago Movie is easily the worst Lego film since the release of 2014's The Lego Movie. That being said, I actually quite enjoyed my time watching this adaptation of a popular children's property. This one is action-oriented, as opposed to the other lego films, which went for a comedic approach through and through, but this movie still presented enough laughs to keep me engaged. The creativity from the first Lego Movie is also very present in this one. There's an awesome scene with a live-action cat, which stole the show for me. The voice acting work was fine enough, and the animation was as beautiful as ever. I'm not big on the Ninjago property, but I have heard that it doesn't sit well with fans of the franchise. I do recommend this to families, and lego fans alike.
